Music distribution and cover song licensing company Soundrop has started distributing its artists’ active catalog to several major music services in Russia and China. Soundrop is a division of AVL Digital, which was acquired by Downtown Music Holdings last year in a deal that industry sources estimated was in the vicinity of $200 million.
